THE PROBLEM

Sending the announcement is not the same as it being read.

Internal email piles up unopened. Intranet posts depend on someone going looking for them. Group chats fill with noise and the message that mattered sinks in three minutes.

When your workforce is spread across branches, shifts, plants and states, there is no way to know whether it landed. There is only a way to assume it did.

The problem was never publishing. It is being seen — and being able to prove it.

HOW IT WORKS

Eight product decisions, all aimed at the same problem.

  1. Vertical format, zero learning curve

Short video, full screen, thumb to advance. It is the format your workforce already mastered on their own time. Nobody needs a training session on how to use the training tool.

  2. The feed ranks by relevance, not by timestamp

What each person sees first is computed, not inherited from the clock. A message that matters does not get buried under whatever shipped after it, and each person gets what applies to their role, their location and what they have not seen yet.

  3. Recognition, posted where people are already looking

Recognizing someone gets its own card inside the feed, with the reason, the team and the month. It is managed from the admin panel like any other content — not chased down over email by whoever remembered.

  4. Podcasts and official content, out of the noise

A podcast is its own content type, not a video with a still image on top. And what the organization publishes is visually distinct from what the community publishes: nobody has to guess whether they are looking at company policy or a coworker.

  5. An AI assistant grounded in your own content

It answers questions about policies, processes and benefits from your organization's documents — not from the open internet. When the answer is not in your content, it says so and routes the person to the right team.

  6. Targeted announcements, by push or by email

Every department, location, shift and role gets only what applies to them, and you decide whether it goes out as a web push notification, as email, or both. A regional notice does not reach the whole company. Less noise, more opens.

  7. No app stores, and no passwords

It is a PWA: installed from the browser with a link, then it sits as an icon on the home screen. No App Store, no Play Store, no review queue every time we ship an update. Sign-in is a magic link to the corporate inbox, so there are no passwords to issue, reset or leak. On managed devices it deploys through your MDM.

  8. Your brand, not ours

Your domain, your colors, your logo, applied by configuration. To your employees it is a company tool, not a vendor's app. That is where adoption starts.

APPLIED AI

Someone uploads a video. The platform does the rest.

The AI in Punto de Encuentro is not a separate button or a demo tab. It sits on the path every video takes the moment it is published. Nobody transcribes, nobody writes the questions, nobody tags anything by hand.

  1. The video gets published

Someone on your team uploads from the browser or records inside the app. No edit bay, no outside vendor, no publishing window to wait for.

  2. It transcribes itself

The platform transcribes the audio with no human in the loop. From that point on, what was said in the video is text: searchable, quotable and reviewable without watching it again.

  3. Quiz questions and hashtags come out of it

The transcript produces quiz questions about what was actually said, plus the topical hashtags that connect that video to the rest of the library. Checking whether a message landed stops depending on someone finding time to write a questionnaire.

  4. It is indexed for search and for the assistant

The content is indexed for semantic search, so people find it by what it says rather than by how it was titled. It is the same index the assistant draws on when somebody asks instead of searching.

This is the clearest example of what we mean by applied AI: not a feature to demo, but work a person used to do that now nobody does.

MEASUREMENT

It does not measure averages. It measures records.

The difference from internal email is not the format. It is that every interaction is stored at the level of the person and the piece of content. You can compute an average later; you cannot recover a record that was never written.

Sign-ins
Who signed in, when, and by which method. Platform activity stops depending on someone telling you afterwards that yes, they did check.
Video views
Who watched what, how far they got, whether they finished, and how long they stayed. Opening a video and watching it through no longer count the same.
Quiz answers
Who answered what, whether it was correct, and on which attempt. That is the distance between reporting that a message went out and showing that it was understood.
Activity dashboard
Daily active users, sign-ups for the period, and the content with the most impact — in front of the team that has to answer for internal communication.

Every cut of the data — by department, location, shift or period — comes off the same records. When Compliance asks for evidence that a communication was seen, the evidence is the record, not an estimate.

GOVERNANCE

Opening a channel where anyone can post is a decision somebody has to defend.

The product ships with what you defend it with. Not a promise of good behavior: permissions, roles and safeguards that are already in the admin panel.

  • Per-resource permissions

Distinct roles and per-resource permissions: who publishes, who moderates, who reads the analytics, and who sees none of it. The admin panel is not one key that gets passed around.

  • Moderation with a procedure

Community reports, hiding and removal, all from the same panel and always in the hands of a named role. Taking something down is an administrative act, not an anonymous button.

  • Official content cannot be brigaded down

There is an explicit safeguard so a coordinated wave of reports cannot pull down a company announcement. Moderation protects the community; it does not get turned against the organization.

  • Per-user rate limits

Uploads, reactions and reports are capped per user. Neither enthusiasm nor bad faith can flood everyone else's feed.

SECURITY

What your IT and risk teams will ask.

Architecture
Architecture designed in line with ISO 27001 controls and the SOC 2 trust services criteria. Atum holds no certification under either framework, and we will not claim otherwise in an RFP.
Isolation
Each organization runs in its own logical space with its own domain and configuration. One organization's content is not reachable from another.
Personal data
Processing of your employees' data is governed by the services agreement and a data processing agreement. Under Mexican law that is the LFPDPPP framework; where GDPR or US state privacy laws apply, we execute the corresponding DPA.
Identity integration
Integrates with your corporate directory for provisioning, deprovisioning and targeting. Nobody maintains a user list by hand.
Portability
Your content and your metrics are yours and can be exported. We do not use data retention as commercial leverage.

IN PRODUCTION

It already runs at scale.

Punto de Encuentro is currently in production at a Mexican financial institution with more than 15,000 employees, distributed across branches and shifts nationwide.

The client's name is under NDA. We can walk through the case in more detail on a call.

OPTIONAL MODULES

Pieces that already exist and switch on by configuration.

Not every organization wants the same thing on day one. These modules are built and running inside the product: they get enabled when they make sense, not quoted as new development.

  • Gamification

Points, streaks and a leaderboard. The leaderboard counts distinct people reacting, not raw taps, so handing out reactions moves nobody up. A score you can inflate measures nothing.

  • Event pools

Predictions around a dated event — a tournament, a launch, a period close — to concentrate attention inside a short window instead of spreading it thin all year.

  • AR camera filters

Augmented-reality filters in the video recorder, for the campaigns where the content comes from your own people and they need a reason to hit record.

On or off is an implementation decision, made with the team that built the modules and works your business hours, not a time zone away. We will not present a module as included when your organization never asked for it.

GOOD FIT IF

Punto de Encuentro is for you if:

  • You have more than a thousand employees and most of them are not at a desk.
  • Your operation runs through branches, plants, stores or rotating shifts.
  • Comms, HR or Compliance need to prove a message reached people.
  • You already tried the intranet, the all-hands email or a group chat, and it did not work.
  • You need to train people without pulling them off the floor.
  • You want employees posting, and you need to moderate that under clear rules.
  • You recognize your people and you want the recognition seen, not filed.

Not for you if:

  • Your team is under a hundred people and everyone reads the same channel.
  • You are shopping for internal chat. This is broadcast and training, not messaging.
  • You expect it to replace your HRIS. This communicates, trains and measures; it does not run payroll or employee records.
